If you love Han Solo, you need to read these books
The Star Wars universe contains a plethora of bad-ass characters. Han Solo is one of, if not THE top-ranking bad-ass on the chart. If you feel that you need more Han Solo in your life, I highly recommend reading the Han Solo Trilogy, written by A.C. Crispin. This series is very well-written and fast paced. Ms. Crispin has a firm grasp on Star Wars lore and knows the characters well. These books could easily be made into movies. I plowed through the novels about as fast as Han and Chewie made the Kessel Run. Speaking of the Kessel Run…you’ll find out exactly what it is if you read these books. Other things you’ll get to know: Han’s childhood, how he became a pilot, how he obtained the Falcon, how he met Chewie, how he met Lando, run-ins with the Hutts and Boba Fett, & maybe a girlfriend before meeting Leia? The series starts off with a very young, thieving Han Solo trying to survive on the streets, and ends at the Mos Eisley cantina when an old fossil and a young moisture farmer approach Han & Chewie inquiring about transportation off of Tatooine.
Ms. Crispin has written many other sci-fi novels, so she is no stranger to the genre. Sadly, she passed away a few years ago. Again, if you need to bush up on your Han Solo history, this is the place to start. Have you already finished the Han Solo trilogy? Post a comment and let us know what you think!
