STEAM Event at local elementary school

March 9th, 2018: I took R2 out for his first event. Because I drive a small car, I have to transport R2 in pieces. As I was re-assembling R2 before the event, I mistakenly flipped the +- connections on his dome lighting system. This blew out the board, and poor R2 was without lighting for his debut 🙁 It was still a great experience. Many students and parents attended the event, & R2 was able to participate in many photo shoots. Rey added some protection, and R2Q5 put aside his differences and pal’d around with R2D2 for the evening.

Costume: R2 was the star of the show.
