Build a Kylo Ren hilt with parts from Home Depot
Kylo Ren’s hilt is one of the most unique lightsabers in the Star Wars universe. It does not share the polished and sleek looks of other Jedi and Sith sabers. The design of the crossguard hilt is crude, with visible wires, and a worn appearance. Because it looks thrown together, it is a great candidate for a Home Depot lightsaber hilt project! After MANY hours spent looking for parts, I am pleased to present Kylo Ren’s crossguard hilt! Check out the video below for details. A parts list can also be found below.

12 x cable ties $6.50
¾” PVC $1.65
1-1/2” PVC $3.58
½” EMT Conduit $2.44 (try to find a short piece, only need about 6”)
1-½” tailpiece $2.47
½” Metal Hole Plug x 2 $1.44 each
⅞” Metal Hole Plug $2.44
16 gauge red wire $5 (can probably find cheaper, only need 12”)
Old network cable (will need 6” of thin blue wire) any thin blue wire will do
⅛” (3mm) silver pop rivets $5.28
#4 x ½” screws (round head for grip, pan head for “power button”) $1.18
#4 finishing washer (optional)
Ring Terminals for 16 gauge wire $2.18
1-¼” PVC flat end cap (had to order this!) $7.92 for a pack of 10

Krylon Clear Satin Finish (optional for gunmetal finish)
Loctite Plastics Bonding System
E6000 or other adhesive for metal
Testors silver enamel
#2 flat shader brush
Bondo filler/putty (optional)
Friction tape, scotch tape & masking/painters tape
120/220/400 grit sandpaper
Testors clear red Acrylic (optional for “power button”)

When i print the templates how do i get them larger?
Do I print the templates full size or the size you have them? I’m assuming the size you have them…
