Plastic Han Solo DL-44 Prop with gunmetal finish
Today, we’ll customize one of the most-recognized weapons in the Star Wars arsenal: the Blastech DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol. The DL-44 was a prized weapon among bounty hunters and smugglers due to its power and accuracy. If you ever run into Han Solo, you can be sure that he’ll have one of these slung against his right leg. Be careful, he won’t wait for you to shoot first.
Amazon sells a nice Han Solo DL-44 blaster for $12. It may not look like much, but she’s got it where it counts.
I’ve made a lot of special modifications myself, so if you’ll just check out the video below, we can get started with the project.

Fan Submissions:
Here is a Rubie’s DL44 build from fellow Star Wars fan: Laurie W. Not only did Laurie do an excellent job on her painting and weathering, but she took things to the next level by weighting it metal filler AND she put a metal pipe in the muzzle. Excellent job Laurie, thank you for sharing!
